Shabby Chic Sofa fitting

This is the shabby chic slipcover in the fitting stage. As you can see it has a loose fit and a casual look. White cotton duck is the perfect choice for a slipcover this style. Be prepared though, no matter how much you press this fabric it will look wrinkled. If you are not comfortable with this feature, this is not the fabric for you. The customer and I have made a few adjustments. For example, the skirt will be shortened. The length is appropriate for the look of this sofa but you have to keep in mind practicality. This client knows that she has no entry way. Therefore the floor gets very dirty. So we have decided to shorten the skirt so dirt doesn't get trapped in the slipcover folds. Tune in next week for the final fitting.
